IIT Placements: High Demand for Top Talent

Big companies and startups are competing to hire the smartest students from IITs.

They are offering very high salaries, sometimes over ₹1 crore, for jobs in places like Palo Alto, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.

These companies include high-frequency trading firms, tech giants like Tesla and Apple, and even airplane makers like Airbus and Boeing.

The placements will happen from December to April.

Some companies are also offering jobs in other countries like the US, Japan, and the UK.

This is a big event because it shows how companies in India are trying to get the best talent.

On the first day of placements at IIT Roorkee, 436 students received offers, with 8 international and 428 domestic offers.
