ECR Launches AI System to Improve Train Safety and Efficiency
Imagine trains that are getting a smart upgrade!
The East Central Railway has introduced a new system using Artificial Intelligence, or AI, to make trains better.
This system helps clean the trains and refill water automatically.
It also uses special sensors to spot problems like fire or if someone pulls the emergency stop cord.
The system will first be used on eight long-distance trains from Ara and then spread to more trains.
It makes train rides safer and more comfortable, helping everyone travel with ease!
ECR inaugurated an AI-based system at Ara coaching depot.
The system automates coach cleaning and water refilling.
Smart sensors detect issues like fire, brake binding, and ACP.
The system was successfully tested on the Ara-Durg South Bihar Express.
The AI integration aims to boost monitoring, safety, and passenger comfort.
