Khammam DLSA Trains Teachers to Strengthen Child Protection

The District Legal Services Authority in Khammam held a training programme for teachers.

The teachers were nominated to help protect children.

They learned how to notice signs of abuse, neglect and exploitation.

They also learned about children’s rights and where to refer children who need help.

The programme explained that some cases must be reported under the POCSO Act.

It also discussed child marriage, child labour and online safety.

Officials said schools and government agencies must work together.

This cooperation can help children receive protection and assistance quickly.
