Hyderabad Ganja Suppliers Stab Police, Set Dog on Raiding Party
Police in Hyderabad went to catch people who sell an illegal drug called ganja.
The sellers were not happy and tried to fight back.
They even stabbed police officers and sent their dog after them.
The police were stronger and caught the four suspects.
Before this raid, police had been watching the gang for four months.
The gang was bringing a lot of ganja from a state called Odisha to sell in the city.
Police also arrested another seller named Kaliwala Ajay, who sold fruits.
They found almost 18 grams of ganja and checked 31 people who came to buy drugs.
Most of those buyers tested positive for using drugs.
The police now know some places in the city where marijuana is sold.
Alleged ganja suppliers stabbed police personnel and set their dog on a raiding party in Hyderabad's Fathenagar and Balanagar areas.
Despite the attack, officials overpowered the accused — Durga Prasad, Ravi, Kamlakar and Kiran.
The raid was conducted by the Cyberabad EAGLE Force and Hyderabad Narcotics Bureau teams.
Police seized 17.8 grams of ganja, arrested peddler Kaliwala Ajay, and identified 29 consumers who tested positive in narco tests.
Police said Fathenagar, Nanakramguda and Dhoolpet were among the major marijuana supply points in the city.
