VPA unveils road sweeping machine, fire tender
The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) recently introduced two new machines to help keep the port area clean and safe.
The first is a big road sweeping machine that can clean up to 20,000 cubic meters of dust and debris per hour.
This machine, costing Rs.4.69 crore, will help reduce dust pollution in and around the port.
The second is a multipurpose fire tender equipped with water, foam, and other fire-fighting materials, costing Rs.3.85 crore.
Both machines were inaugurated by senior officials of the VPA, who aim to improve the port's cleanliness and safety.
The event was attended by various department heads, senior officials, and employees of the VPA.
