BJP Leader Criticizes Maharashtra Government for Neglecting Vidarbha
A senior leader from the BJP party in Maharashtra, Sudhir Mungantiwar, spoke up against his own government.
He said the government is not treating the Vidarbha region fairly.
He mentioned that the government has not set up important boards for development in Vidarbha and Marathwada, even though many leaders have asked for them.
He also said that the government is spending a lot of money on holding meetings in Nagpur but not doing enough to help the people there.
He believes this is unfair and against the rules of the Constitution.
He wants the government to send a proposal to the central government to set up these development boards.
Sudhir Mungantiwar criticized the Maharashtra government for not establishing Statutory Development Boards in Vidarbha and Marathwada.
He mentioned that over 100 letters have been sent demanding the re-establishment of these boards, but no action has been taken.
Mungantiwar alleged that the government is spending Rs 200 crore on holding the assembly session in Nagpur but not providing funds for development.
He claimed that the government is violating Article 371(2) of the Constitution by not establishing these boards.
Supplementary demands of Rs 75,000 crore have been submitted, indicating an imbalance in fund distribution.
