Amitabh Bachchan didn’t attend Mukri’s funeral, never called

Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan did not attend the funeral of late actor Mukri, who was a close friend and co-star.

Mukri's daughter, Naseem Mukri, shared that Amitabh never visited their home after Mukri's death and did not even call to offer condolences.

She believes that friendships in the film industry are often superficial and end when the professional relationship ends.

However, Rishi Kapoor, another co-star of Mukri, showed up at their home at 7 am the day after Mukri's death, crying and offering his condolences.

Mukri passed away in 2000 due to a heart attack in Mumbai.

He was known for his comic roles in films like Mother India and Bombay to Goa.
