Kolkata woman dies from altitude sickness in North Sikkim
A 47-year-old woman from Kolkata went on a vacation with her family to North Sikkim.
She felt sick with shortness of breath and vomiting after reaching Lachung, which is very high up in the mountains.
Even though she felt unwell, she went to a place called Zero Point, which is even higher.
Later that night, she got very sick and was taken to a hospital, but the doctors said she had already passed away.
The doctors think she got sick because of the high altitude.
The police are looking into what happened.

Despite her condition, she visited Zero Point at 15,300 ft for sightseeing.
She developed acute symptoms of altitude sickness and was rushed to the hospital around 2 am.
Doctors declared her brought dead at the Lachung Army Field Hospital.
