Google, IIMC Partner on AI Skills Academy for Newsrooms
Google is starting a special program called the AI Skills Academy to teach people in the news how to use Artificial Intelligence.
It's a 10-week course that will teach journalists and media educators about AI and how to use Google's tools, like NotebookLM and Gemini.
This helps them work faster and focus on the most important parts of the story, like in-depth research and storytelling.
The program, in partnership with IIMC, offers lessons and practice to make sure people can use AI in their jobs.
This should help newsrooms everywhere use AI better.
