Deciding Winner by Vault Code
Viewers
The winner should be decided by a series of tasks, not a code; using the code makes the finale look scripted.
Show Makers
The code method follows the show's established format, where cracking the vault code determined who the Ace was in previous tasks.
Fairness of the Outcome
Viewers
The finale is 'rigged' and unfair because makers can control when the vault displays 'Valid' or 'Not Valid'.
Show Makers
The show's promo presents the code challenge as the official way the winner will be determined; no response from makers is reported in the article.
