Manoj Kumar Das Appointed Gujarat's Next Chief Secretary
A senior officer named Manoj Kumar Das has been chosen to be the top bureaucrat in Gujarat, like the main manager for the state government.
He is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 1990 batch.
Right now, he helps the Chief Minister directly and also manages the home department.
He will take over this important job after the current Chief Secretary, Pankaj Joshi, retires at the end of October.

Manoj Kumar Das will be the next Chief Secretary of Gujarat.
