Naidu, Ministers to Open Rs 52.5-Crore Indrakeeladri Facilities

A temple in Vijayawada is opening two new buildings for visitors.

Together, the buildings cost Rs 52.50 crore.

One building will serve meals called annaprasadam and can seat 800 people at once.

The other building will make, pack, store and distribute temple offerings such as pulihora, sweet pongal and laddus.

The opening is scheduled for August 21 at 11.32 am.

One report says Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will open the buildings.

Another report says Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and other public representatives will do so.

Temple officials also plan to add machines to make the food cleaner, more consistent and faster to prepare.
