Mehbooba Mufti Urges Omar Abdullah to Reconsider BSF Land Allotment
Mehbooba Mufti, the leader of the PDP, visited a village in Pulwama and saw that the government wants to give some fertile land to the BSF to build a security camp.
She thinks this is not a good idea because many people in the village depend on this land to make a living.
She asked the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, to think again and maybe give the BSF some land that is not so good for farming instead.
She believes this will help the people in the village keep their jobs and support their families.
Mehbooba Mufti visited Pochal village in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.
She urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to reconsider allotting fertile land to the BSF for a security camp.
The land in question is located in the middle of the village and is crucial for the livelihoods of many people.
Mufti suggested that the BSF should be given infertile land instead to avoid disrupting the local economy.
The request was made to protect the economic interests of the village residents.
