Drone Operator Booked Near Matoshree
In Mumbai, a man was caught flying a drone near a big house called Matoshree without permission.
The drone was taking pictures for a building project.
People living nearby and security guards saw the drone and told the police.
The police have started investigating and have asked the drone operator for more information.
This is not the first time this has happened; a similar incident was reported earlier in November.
Kherwadi police registered a case against a contractor for flying a drone without permission near Matoshree in Bandra East.
The drone was capturing footage at the BKC Ten construction site around 7 PM for advertising purposes.
Residents and security staff alerted the police after spotting the unauthorized drone activity.
The area is considered sensitive due to its proximity to Matoshree, the residence of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.
The police have issued a notice to the drone operator and are investigating the specific content and purpose of the promotional material.
