Michele Mulroney Elected WGA West President

The Writers Guild of America West, a group for writers, just elected new leaders.

Michele Mulroney is now the President.

Travis Donnelly is the Vice President, and Peter Murrieta is the Secretary-Treasurer.

They were voted in by the members of the WGA West.

The new leaders will have to work hard to make sure writers are treated fairly when negotiating with movie and TV studios.

One important goal will be to make sure writers' health plans are good.

Also, they'll be looking at things like streaming residuals, AI, and room size.
