PM Modi to Promote Team India at Jal Shakti Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at a water-sector meeting in New Delhi.

The meeting brings together officials from the central and state governments.

It is meant to encourage them to work together as “Team India.”

They will discuss important problems involving water projects and drinking water.

One topic is collecting rainwater through the Catch the Rain programme.

Another is keeping drinking-water sources reliable.

Officials will create plans with deadlines to improve these programmes.

The goal is to deliver better water services to people.
