Mumbai Protests: Woman Stops Police Van

In Mumbai, a young woman named Rhiya became a symbol of protest when she stopped a police van carrying detained protesters.

This happened during a demonstration supporting the Cockroach Janta Party's agitation over the NEET paper leak.

Rhiya, who is an actor and entrepreneur, said she took action because she believed the police were not acting responsibly.

Other videos from the protest showed people freeing detained protesters from a moving police van and senior citizens cheering on the demonstrators.

The Mumbai Police have registered several cases against protesters for unlawful assembly and violating prohibitory orders.

The protests have been going on for three days, with people braving the rain to express their support.
