Ranchi: Prohibitory Orders Clamped Before Protest Over Land
Some people in Ranchi, India, are upset about a new hospital being built because they believe the government took their land unfairly.
They are planning a protest, so the local government has made some rules to keep everyone safe.
These rules stop people from gathering in large groups or bringing weapons near the construction site.
They also can't use loud speakers.
A former leader of the state is also joining the protest to support the people who are upset.
The government says these rules are to keep the peace while the new hospital is being built.
Prohibitory orders imposed in Ranchi's Nagri area due to a planned protest over land acquisition.
The protest is against the proposed Rs 1,000-crore RIMS-2 hospital project.
