Man Drowns in Ulhas River, Rescue Efforts Ongoing

A 20-year-old delivery boy named Mohammad Gaus Sheikh drowned in the Ulhas River.

He was with his brother and a friend when he slipped while washing his hands and feet.

Despite immediate efforts by his friends, locals, and police, he was swept away by the river's strong current.

Rescue teams, including the fire department and police, started searching on Saturday.

However, heavy rain and rising water levels have made the search difficult.

Despite ongoing efforts, he has not been found as of Sunday evening.
