Jamil Takes Blame After India’s 1-6 Defeat to Uruguay

India lost 6-1 to Uruguay in a football match.

India’s coach, Khalid Jamil, said he blamed himself and would not make excuses.

Uruguay scored first from a penalty, but Anirudh Thapa soon scored for India.

Rain and lightning stopped the game for 34 minutes.

After play restarted, Uruguay scored five more goals.

The loss came three days after India had lost 4-0 to Brazil.

Jamil said the team needed to improve its concentration.

Uruguay coach Diego Forlan said his team changed how it played after India took advantage early on.
