US Consumer Confidence Rebounds Sharply in May
In May, Americans started feeling much better about the economy.
After months of worry, a survey showed they are more confident.
This is because prices aren't rising as fast, jobs are stable, and people aren't as worried about new taxes on imported goods.
Consumer confidence is important because when people feel good, they tend to spend more money, which helps the economy grow.
US consumer confidence saw a significant rebound in May.
The Consumer Confidence Index rose to 98, up from 85.7 in April.
The largest monthly gain in over two years was seen.
