Allahabad HC Dismisses Appeal on SC/ST Act Case
The Allahabad High Court recently dismissed an appeal from four men who were accused of cheating and caste-based abuses.
The complainant, a member of a Scheduled Caste, alleged that she paid Rs 80,000 for a visa and job in Qatar, but the visa was unusable and she was abused when she asked for her money back.

The High Court also noted that the trial court had properly examined the evidence and that the public prosecutor's request to withdraw the case lacked independent reasoning.
