Truecaller Launches Family Protection Against Scams
Truecaller has introduced a new feature called Family Protection to help families avoid phone scams.
This feature allows families to create a group of up to 5 members within the Truecaller app.
One person in the group is the admin who can manage blocklists, scam alerts, and other safety tools.
All family members need to have the Truecaller app installed for this to work.
The admin can also use special tools on Android to take action against scam calls and monitor things like battery level and phone activity.
This feature is free and is currently available in a few countries, with plans to expand to India by early 2026.
Truecaller hopes this will make family communication safer.
