Gautam Adani's Vande Bharatam Selects Inaugural Cohort From 26,000 Applications
Mr. Gautam Adani, who runs a big company called the Adani Group, started a special project called Vande Bharatam.
This project helps people with good ideas become inventors and business owners.
More than 26,000 people from all over India sent in their ideas.
People from every state and territory in India joined in.
Their ideas were about many things, like helping farmers, healthcare, protecting the environment, and new technology.
A small group of the best inventors was chosen after many rounds of judging.
These chosen inventors will meet smart business leaders and mentors who can help them.
On August 14, the very best inventors will be celebrated and given a special trophy.
The goal is to make sure talented people everywhere in India get the same chances to succeed.
Vande Bharatam, the innovation and entrepreneurship initiative launched by Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, has selected its inaugural cohort from more than 26,000 applications.
Applications came from every State and Union Territory of India, spanning mobility, sustainability, technology, agriculture, defence, healthcare, manufacturing and education.
Innovators were chosen through a multi-stage evaluation process and will take part in the Vande Bharatam Immersive Week with mentorship and business leader interactions.
The program culminates in the Vande Bharatam Grand Finale on August 14, where outstanding innovators will be recognised with the Vande Bharatam Trophy.
Launched on Adani's 64th birthday on June 25, the initiative aims to build a national platform connecting talent beyond traditional entrepreneurial centres with mentors, industry leaders and growth opportunities.
