Madhya Pradesh's Sarwagya Singh Kushwaha becomes world's youngest rated chess player
Sarwagya Singh Kushwaha is a very young boy from India who has achieved something amazing in chess.
He is only 3 years old, but he has become the youngest person in the world to get an official rating in chess.
This rating is given by FIDE, which is the organization that oversees chess around the world.
Sarwagya beat several older players to get this rating.
His father says that Sarwagya learned chess very quickly and practiced a lot.
His family is very proud of him and hopes he will become a grandmaster one day.
A grandmaster is a very high title in chess.
The previous record for the youngest rated player was held by someone else from India, but Sarwagya broke that record.
Sarwagya Singh Kushwaha, aged 3 years, 7 months, and 20 days, became the world's youngest player to receive an official FIDE rating.
He achieved this by defeating five opponents, including players nearly ten times his age, in official chess events.
His father, Siddharth Singh, noted that Sarwagya quickly picked up chess and practiced for about six hours a day.
The previous record was held by Anish Sarkar, who achieved the rating at 3 years, 8 months, and 19 days.
