India-Africa Summit Focuses on Food Security and Agricultural Trade
A summit about food and farming brought people from India and more than 30 African countries together in Greater Noida.
They talked about ways to improve food security and farming.
Topics included seeds, soil, irrigation, technology and trade.
The event was organised by the International Trade & Delegation Federation of Chambers.
GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management hosted it as the Academic Partner.
Speakers said countries and institutions can work together and share knowledge.
The summit also announced another meeting for 2027.
That meeting will focus on seeds and farming innovation across Asia and Africa.
The India-Africa Food Security, Agri Trade & Investment Summit 2026 was inaugurated at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management in Greater Noida.
Organised by the International Trade & Delegation Federation of Chambers, the summit brought together representatives from more than 30 African countries and participants from government, science, agriculture, business and academia.
Discussions covered agricultural research, seeds, biotechnology, soil health, irrigation, climate-smart agriculture, food processing, trade and investment.
GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management served as the summit’s Academic Partner, supporting international knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Organisers announced the Asian-Africa Seed Trade & Innovation Summit 2027, focused on seed trade, agricultural innovation, technology, research and investment.
