St Xavier’s College to Launch MSc in AI by 2028

St Xavier’s College in Kolkata is planning to start a new course called MSc in Artificial Intelligence in 2028.

The principal, Father Dominic Savio, said that AI is very useful in many industries and will help students find jobs.

The college already has a course in data science and is now adding AI to make students more ready for the job market.

They will have a special test to choose students for this course.

The college is also hosting a big conference about data and AI in January 2026, where experts will share their knowledge.

This will help the college design the new AI course.

Besides, the college has other events like a mini-marathon, a convocation, and a music concert in January.
