BRS Plans Singareni Meeting, Demands Workers’ Profit Share

BRS Plans Singareni Meeting, Demands Workers’ Profit Share

The BRS party plans to hold a large meeting in Ramagundam on October 14.

It says the meeting will draw attention to problems at Singareni Collieries and concerns raised by its workers.

The party wants the company to announce its profits and give workers a share.

It is also asking for eligible dependents to get jobs, pending payments to be cleared, and union elections to be held.

T. Harish Rao said workers’ profit share has gone down since the Congress government took power.

He also said company profits may be much lower this year.

Rao blamed delays and other administrative problems, and questioned the need for another overdraft.

These claims and demands were made by BRS leaders.
