SSC to release interview list next week
The School Service Commission (SSC) in West Bengal is going to release a list of candidates next week who will be called for interviews for secondary teaching jobs.
They are being very careful to make sure no one who was involved in past cheating or wrongdoing gets selected.
The SSC is checking all the documents and marks of the candidates to avoid any mistakes.
The Supreme Court has told them to finish this process by December 31.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had removed many teachers because of a bad recruitment process in 2016.
Now, they are making sure only good teachers are selected.
The SSC will publish a preliminary list of candidates for secondary teaching job interviews next week.
The list is based on written test performance, academic qualifications, and teaching experience.
Document verification will cross-check academic scores to prevent errors that led to cancellations in the past.
The SSC is exercising caution to ensure no 'tainted' candidates are included, following Supreme Court directives.
The Supreme Court has set a December 31 deadline for the commission to complete the recruitment process.
