AI or Real? Foldable iPhone Video Sparks Online Debate
People online are debating a short video that may show a folding iPhone.
The video shows a small black Apple-branded device opening like a book.
Its inside screen looks about as large as an iPad mini.
Some viewers think the video was made with artificial intelligence or edited digitally.
Others think it might show an early Apple prototype.
Apple has not said that the video is real or confirmed the device.
Reports say the phone could have two screens, two 48-megapixel cameras, and a very thin body.
The reports and most design details are still unconfirmed.
A 19-second video on X appears to show a compact Apple device unfolding into a tablet-sized screen.
Viewers disagree over whether the footage is AI-generated, digitally edited, or an early prototype.
Apple has not confirmed the foldable iPhone, its name, design, specifications, price, or the video’s authenticity.
Reports suggest a possible September 9 debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Rumored features include a 5.5-inch outer display, 7.8-inch inner screen, two 48-megapixel cameras, and a price above $2,000.
