India Builds Strategic Road to 16,000-Foot Muling La
India is building a new road that goes very high up in the mountains, near the border with China.
This road will help soldiers and supplies move quickly, even in bad weather.
Right now, it takes a long time to reach this area, but the new road will make it much faster.
The road is part of India's plan to make its borders stronger and more secure.
It's a big project that will cost a lot of money, but it's important for keeping the area safe.
India is constructing a 32-kilometer road from Nilapani to Muling La, near the China border in Uttarakhand.
The road will replace a difficult trek that currently takes five days, reducing travel time to hours.
The project, costing Rs 104 crore, is being executed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
The road will enable vehicular movement of troops and supplies even in extreme weather conditions.
This initiative is part of India's strategy to enhance border infrastructure and security following the 2020 Ladakh standoff.
