President Murmu Receives Credentials From Six Nations’ Envoys

President Droupadi Murmu met six new foreign representatives in India.

They came from South Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Moldova, Germany and Sweden.

The representatives formally gave her their credentials.

Credentials are official documents showing that they are authorized to represent their countries.

The ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

The group included ambassadors and Nigeria’s high commissioner.

Murmu had visited Moldova on July 20.

That visit was part of a three-country European tour.

The tour aimed to strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade, technology and tourism.
