Kerala CM Predicts Big LDF Victory in 2026 Assembly Polls
Kerala's Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, is very confident that his party, the LDF, will win a lot more seats in the next big election in 2026.
He thinks people will remember all the good things the LDF has done in the last 10 years, like making Kerala one of the least corrupt states and improving education and health.
The LDF says they will win 110 out of 140 seats, while the opposing UDF says they will win 100.
However, the UDF leader, Ramesh Chennithala, accused the Chief Minister of trying to divide people along communal lines to stay in power.
He also claimed that the LDF has allowed the BJP to gain ground in Kerala.
The Chief Minister had earlier criticized UDF leaders over alleged links with Jamaat-e-Islami.
The government has also been working on following suggestions from a special report about helping Christian communities in Kerala, with most of the suggestions already done and the rest to be taken care of soon.
