A new railway project between Indore and Manmad has taken an important step forward.

Central Railway has invited companies to bid for building part of the line.

The tender is worth ₹4,930.91 crore.

The section will be 72.66 kilometers long, running from Mhow to Gyaraspurkhedi near Dhamnod.

It will include bridges, tunnels, road overbridges and a large railway viaduct.

Seven stations are planned along this section.

Work should be completed within 48 months after a company receives the contract.

The railway is expected to help farmers, businesses and industries move goods and connect with markets in Maharashtra and South India.
