HSBC finance chief Pam Kaur plans retirement in 2027

Pam Kaur is the finance chief at HSBC, a large international bank.

She plans to leave that job by HSBC’s annual meeting in 2027.

She became the first woman to serve as HSBC’s finance chief.

Kaur joined the bank in 2013 and previously managed risk, compliance and auditing.

HSBC is already looking for someone to replace her.

After leaving her full-time job, she will advise CEO Georges Elhedery on special projects.

HSBC’s share price has risen 125% since she became CFO.

Several other senior HSBC executives have also left recently.

The bank has not announced Kaur’s exact final working date.
