macOS 27 Golden Gate powers up Macs with Siri AI

Apple is getting ready to show new iPhones in September.

It is also updating the software that runs on Mac computers.

The new version is called macOS 27 Golden Gate.

The biggest new helper is Siri AI, a smart assistant inside the computer.

Siri AI can find files, answer questions, and even look at pictures for you.

You can ask it things like what time someone leaves for the airport, and it reads your texts and emails to find the answer.

There is a new Siri app that keeps all your past chats in one place.

Safari, the internet browser, can tell you when a price changes and can build new tools you describe.

Podcasts can now play videos, and a drawing app called Freeform got new features.

All of these changes are meant to make the Mac easier and more fun to use.
