Tamil Nadu Parties Prepare for Elections
In Tamil Nadu, India, two big political groups are getting ready for the next big elections.
The AIADMK party is planning to share 100 out of 234 seats with its friends, like the BJP and PMK.
They will decide who gets how many seats based on how people voted in the last big national election.
The AIADMK will keep 134 seats for itself.
On the other side, the DMK party has made a team of 12 people, led by MK Kanimozhi, to make a list of promises for the elections.
They will talk to many people to find out what they want.
The DMK wants to win again, just like they did in the last elections.
Both groups are working hard to make sure they win the most seats.
AIADMK plans to allocate 100 Assembly seats to its allies in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections.
BJP may receive 65 seats, PMK around 30, and smaller parties about 5.
Seat-sharing is based on vote share trends from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
AIADMK will contest the remaining 134 seats alone.
DMK forms a 12-member manifesto committee led by MK Kanimozhi to prepare for the elections.
