Telangana Launches Land and Revenue Reforms
The Minister for Revenue in Telangana has announced big changes to make government services better and faster.
They are building new, high-tech offices for things like registering property, and private companies are paying for and maintaining these buildings.
These offices will have special features like mini wedding halls, areas for pregnant women and seniors, and childcare facilities.
The government is also making changes to support journalists, including a new rule that 33% of press passes must go to women.
Additionally, a new application will be launched to solve long-standing land disputes, and a special card called the Bhudhaar card will help keep land records clear and transparent.
The goal is to make life easier for the people of Telangana and to make the media industry more fair.
Telangana's Revenue Minister announced major reforms to the revenue system, journalist accreditation, and land dispute resolution.
39 sub-registrar offices within the Outer Ring Road area are being restructured into 12 clusters with state-of-the-art facilities.
Private builders will fund and maintain these new facilities for five years, with no financial burden on the state government.
New facilities will include mini marriage halls, special facilities for pregnant women and seniors, and accessibility features.
The government has updated journalist accreditation rules, introducing a 33% reservation for women journalists, and will launch a new application to resolve land disputes within two months.
