EPFO Services Now Available on DigiLocker for Easy Access
The government has made it easier for people to manage their Employees' Provident Fund (EPFO) accounts.
Now, you can check your PF balance and passbook directly on the DigiLocker app, just like having all your important documents in one place.
You can also download important documents like your UAN card and pension details.
Right now, it works on Android phones, with plans to bring it to iPhones soon.
Plus, it is now easier to activate your UAN, which is needed to access EPF services.
This helps with things like checking your balance, withdrawing money, and updating your information, all from your phone.
EPFO services, including PF balance and passbook access, are now available on DigiLocker.
Users can view and download UAN cards, PPOs, and Scheme Certificates through DigiLocker.
Direct access to services via DigiLocker offers a convenient one-app solution.
The feature is currently available for Android users; iOS support is expected soon.
UAN activation is now easier via face authentication through the UMANG app.
