NBA Plans New All-Star Game Format: USA vs World
The NBA is changing its All-Star game in 2026!
Instead of the usual teams, they're planning a special tournament.
It will be two teams of American players versus one team of international players.
Each team will have eight players and they will play against each other in short games.
The NBA hopes this will make the game more exciting because the past ones weren't very competitive, and fans and players want a better show.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will feature a new format at Intuit Dome.
The proposed format includes a round-robin mini-tournament with two USA teams and one World team.
Each team will consist of eight players.
This change is intended to make the All-Star Game more competitive.
The game is scheduled for February 15, 2026, during the Winter Olympics.
