Rajamahendravaram to Conduct Deworming Drive on September 25
Rajamahendravaram will hold a deworming programme on September 25.
Children from 1 to 19 years old will be offered albendazole tablets.
The tablets help protect children from intestinal worms.
They may also help reduce anaemia caused by worm infections.
The programme will take place in schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres.
About 4,46,865 children are expected to receive the medicine.
Children in schools and colleges will get the tablets there.
Children who miss the dose can receive it on October 5.
