Samsonite Zipprix FT Waypoint review: smart tracking built into suitcase
Have you ever worried about losing your suitcase at the airport?
A company called Samsonite made a special suitcase that can tell you where it is.
It has a tiny tag built into the corner of the suitcase.
When you press a small black button, the suitcase beeps and the tag turns on.
You can connect the suitcase to your phone using Apple's Find My or Google's Find Hub.
After that, you can always check where your luggage is from your phone.
The suitcase is made of strong plastic and has a big space for your clothes.
It even has a special opening on top so you can grab things quickly without opening everything.
The suitcase costs a lot of money, around ₹17,700.
A person who tested it says it is expensive but works really well.
The Samsonite Zipprix FT Waypoint is a hard-shell polycarbonate suitcase with a built-in tracking tag, removing the need for separate accessories like an AirTag.
Its integrated Waypoint smart tag connects to Apple's Find My or Google's Find Hub in less than 5 minutes after pressing a black button on the tag.
The reviewed 68cm model weighs 4.3kg and offers 76 litres of storage, expandable up to 92 litres.
It features a flat-top opening, multiple pockets, cross ribbons, a divider pad, and an expandable middle compartment.
Priced at around ₹17,700 for the 68cm version, the reviewer says it is an expensive suitcase but understands the purpose behind the smart additions, and it comes with a 10-year warranty.
