Gunmen Abduct Dozens in Nigeria, Kill Villagers
Imagine some bad guys came to a few villages in Nigeria and took away a bunch of women and kids.
This happened in two different areas.
In one place, they grabbed at least 45 people.
The bad guys are called bandits and often ask for money to let people go.
Sadly, in another village, some other bad guys called Boko Haram also attacked and kidnapped people, even killing the village leader.
These groups have caused lots of problems in the area, hurting people and making them scared to stay in their homes.
Now, the families and communities are worried and some are running away.
Gunmen abducted at least 45 women and children from five villages in northwest Nigeria.
The attacks followed a previous mass abduction in Sabongarin Damri, where 70 people were taken.
Security forces engaged the attackers, resulting in three deaths, but were unable to prevent the kidnappings.
In a separate incident, Boko Haram attacked Kennari village, abducting 15 people and killing the village head.
