Maharashtra Approves Neknoor Upper Tehsildar Office After 27 Years

Maharashtra Approves Neknoor Upper Tehsildar Office After 27 Years

The Maharashtra government has approved a new Upper Tehsildar office in Neknoor.

People in nearby areas previously had to travel to Beed for many revenue services.

The new office is expected to make these services easier to reach.

It will serve five revenue circles around Neknoor.

These include Neknoor, Yelambghat, Manjarsumbha, Chausala and Limbaganesh.

Some matters, such as elections and the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana, will still be handled in Beed.

The government has ordered officials to start the office quickly.

A temporary location will be found first, while a permanent building is planned.

The decision also settles a long-running disagreement between Neknoor and Chausala about where the office should be located.
