Satya Niketan Collapse: Inquiry Ordered as Death Toll Reaches Six

A building in Satya Niketan, Delhi, suddenly collapsed.

Six people have died, and 10 people were rescued.

The building was being used as a paying guest accommodation.

Police said renovation work was happening on the ground floor.

The Delhi government has ordered an investigation led by a magistrate.

Police have also filed a case against the alleged owner and others.

A former fire-services official said the building may have been unsafe because it had been expanded beyond its original design.

He also said heavy rain and construction work may have contributed to the collapse.
