Gujarat Titans Champion Sustainability at Narendra Modi Stadium in IPL 2025
The Gujarat Titans cricket team is doing a great job of helping the environment!
They're taking care of the trash at the huge Narendra Modi Stadium during the IPL 2025 games.
They collected over 93,000 kilograms of trash, separating it into things that can be recycled or turned into compost.
This helps reduce waste and make things cleaner.
The Titans have been doing this for a few years, working with a company that helps manage all the waste.
They want to make a difference and encourage fans to help too.
This way, they're turning trash into resources, helping the planet, and empowering local waste workers.
Gujarat Titans managed waste at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the third consecutive year.
They collected and processed 93,385 kilograms of waste in seven home matches during IPL 2025.
In the 2024 season, 1,04,777 kilograms of waste were processed.
Waste collection includes dry and wet waste, processed through recycling and composting.
The team partnered with NEPRA Resource Management Pvt. Ltd. for waste management.
