Hyderabad Faces Overlap of Religious Events Again in 2025
In Hyderabad, two big religious events, the Ganesh idol immersion and the Milad-un-Nabi procession, might happen around the same time in September 2025.
The Ganesh immersion is planned for September 6.
Milad un Nabi is likely to be on September 5, but this depends on when the moon is seen.
Because these events are important, the city may change the procession's date to prevent any problems.
This happened last year too, to ensure everyone can celebrate peacefully.
It's like having two parties on the same day, so the city adjusts things to help everyone enjoy.
Hyderabad anticipates a likely overlap of Ganesh idol immersions and Milad-un-Nabi procession in September 2025.
The Ganesh idol immersion is scheduled for September 6, 2025.
Eid Milad un Nabi is provisionally set for September 5, 2025, but the date depends on the moon sighting.
The Milad-un-Nabi procession may be postponed to avoid coinciding with the Ganesh immersions.
This is similar to the scenario in 2024 when the procession was held later to accommodate the immersion.
