Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold Makes Foldables Everyday Phones
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is a phone that opens into a larger tablet-like screen.
Its smaller outside screen is meant for quick jobs such as messages, email and browsing.
The larger inside screen is useful for reading, watching videos and using two apps at once.
A light called HiLight can show notifications and what Gemini is doing.
Google also added tools that clean up spoken messages and find good pictures from videos.
The phone has several cameras, a large battery and protection against dust and water.
It is designed to make foldable phones feel more normal and convenient.
However, it is expensive, so not everyone may need one.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold combines a 6.5-inch cover display with an 8-inch inner folding display.
Google’s HiLight ring can signal selected callers and show Gemini’s activity through different light patterns.
Features including Rambler, Magic Capture, Sign-to-Text Translation and Advanced Call Assist target everyday tasks.
The phone uses a Tensor G6 chip, 16GB of RAM, a triple rear camera system and a 4,806mAh battery.
Priced at an estimated Rs 1,86,999, the foldable includes IP68 resistance and seven years of software and security updates.
