Delhi Faces Severe Air Pollution
The air in Delhi is very bad right now.
It's so polluted that it's hard to see and breathe.
The government is trying to fix this by making new rules, like not giving fuel to cars that don't have a pollution check.
They're also working on cleaning up water and making a special park for old electronics.
The air is expected to stay bad for a while because of the cold weather and fog.
The government is doing its best to make the air cleaner for everyone.
Delhi's air quality reached a severe level with an AQI of 391, and some areas exceeded 400.
Thick smog and fog are trapping pollutants, reducing visibility and disrupting daily life.
The Delhi government has enforced permanent restrictions under GRAP-4, including no fuel without a valid PUCC and restrictions on non-BS6 vehicles.
The Delhi Cabinet approved Rs. 100 crore for the rejuvenation of water bodies and the establishment of Delhi's first E-Waste Park at Holambi Kalan.
Authorities are monitoring pollution levels and enforcing measures like the 'No PUC, No Fuel' rule to address the situation.
