HRDA Urges KNRUHS to Enforce HC Orders on PG Fees
The Healthcare Reforms Doctors Association (HRDA) has asked the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) to make sure private medical and dental colleges follow the Telangana High Court's rules about fees for postgraduate (PG) admissions.
The HRDA says some colleges are charging more than allowed and threatening students.
They want the university to send a clear message to all colleges to follow the court's orders.
HRDA urged KNRUHS to enforce High Court interim orders on PG medical and dental fee collection for 2025–26.
HRDA alleged that several private medical and dental colleges are violating court orders by overcharging students.
Colleges are accused of coercing and intimidating students with threats of admission cancellation or denial of academic access.
HRDA demanded that KNRUHS issue a binding circular to all affiliated colleges to adhere to the High Court's orders.
The High Court had regulated fees for Category A and B (MQ-1) PG seats pending final adjudication.
